Hello, my name is Dr. Whit.

Dr. Whitaker “Whit” Jordan is a professor of Spanish at Harding University, a Christian university in Searcy, Arkansas. He lives there with his wife, three bilingual children, some chickens, a dog, and a cat. Although he understands both English and Spanish, he still has no idea what his cat is trying to tell him.

Dr. Whit earned his Ph.D. in Hispanic Studies from the University of Kentucky where he studied literature from Latin America and Spain. Taking what his learned from great works from around the world, Dr. Whit now writes his own stories. Although he has not published any books yet, he is pursuing publication.

For now, if you are interested in hearing Dr. Whit’s stories, check out God’s Good Stories, his weekly podcast that tells Bible stories in a rhythmic and rhyming style reminiscent of Dr. Seuss.

Dr. Whit currently serves as a deacon at his local congregation, helping with children’s education. He has coached both youth sports and university-level travel club teams.

He tries to fish, but the fish are winning.
